Ascension for its size has a varied
group of Animals, ranging from very small spiders,
through, scorpions, snails, mice, crabs, up to Ghekos,
Sheep and Donkeys.
The following pages will give a brief look or listing of
the species that have been, still are on, or visit the
Island's.
Ascension has played a role in helping the understanding
of birds from tropical regions.
